The ECHOS (pronounced Ee-kos) is a Greek word which means "to sound forth" as found in I Thes. 1:8. It is the word from which the English word "Echoes" is derived. The ECHOS is a Mission Prayer Bulletin which KC introduced in connection with the bimonthly Mission Night held to create mission awareness and interest in assembly missionaries and missions when he was in the Burmah Road Gospel Hall Oversight, Penang in 1997. The Mission Night would gather together all the believers in the Penang assemblies to listen to reports by assembly missionaries on the work they are doing in their respective fields from all over the world. The ECHOS consists of a daily prayer bulletin listing praise and prayer items for prayer-partners to intercede at God's Throne of Grace, and detailed written reports of missionaries and the work they do are profiled in it. Come October 27, 28 the Mission Night and The ECHOS will be into their 10th Anniversary. For all these 10 years or so, KC has been writing the Foreword for every issue of The ECHOS. These Forewords are mission challenges and some are relevant to God's people at large. They are therefore reproduced for your reading and challenge in Filled Full.
